Egads. I'm so tired that my eyes hurt, yet I can't stop knitting. It's just a simple little garter stitch stole for Mav's aunt, but it's knitting up so quick and pretty that I can't stop. That, and I want to finish it, so that I can make camoflauge baby socks for the future offspring of my brother-in-law and his wife (who met in the Army, thus the cammy), and even more exciting, a cardigan in my very own yarn. The other day, I was thinking "I need a cardigan for this unpredictable Michigan weather," and in the same day, "I would love to find something to make with that beautiful blue yarn." Then, like peanut butter and chocolate, my two thoughts came together. I can't wait.
Also, I finished these for a friend's new arrival.
I hope they fit. They sure didn't go onto my gigantic son's feet.

It's a good thing I wasn't attached to that karaoke contest. There's no way I would have anything ready to perform by this Friday, my last chance. The wedding is next Friday, and I'm still working on the (damn) flower girl dress. Thank goodness my mom is helping me, or I doubt I'd be able to finish it. I love my mommy.
Ok, off to knit. I mean to bed. Yeah, that's it. Bed.
