A Different Kind of Disappointment
assembled @ 11:57 p.m. on 2004-11-04

I'm not usually political here. But I am so disappointed. I've never felt this strongly about a presidential race, but this one... this man has been president my daughter's entire life, and she'll be seven years old before he's gone. To me, that is far too much time to take more away from her, and from my son; from their freedoms, their future, and the future of the world they live in. To me, this man has little to no regard for the people to whom he is supposed to be listening, and he does what he likes, like a bully on the playground. Kerry may not have had the "personality" to win the election, but I actually researched their platforms, and I liked where he stood. If he had won, I would have at least had some hope of change. Now I just have fear of it.
