There are days when I think that I'm not cut out to be a mommy. On those days I think that my children would be better off without me, with me going back to work, or just not being around at all. And then there are moments like tonight, as I lay in bed with them, one little blond head warm under my fingertips, as I stroked her head and watched her eyes get sleepy. My big, giant, still-little boy was cradled in my other shoulder, curled up against me like the final piece dropped into an intricate 1000-piece puzzle. Then I sigh and smile, remembering all those moments growing up, and after I got married, when I wished to be a mommy. When I imagined what it would be like, it was pictures of moments like those that came to mind. I am so blessed.
