Sound the Trumpets!

Egads, what a day. Just one of those days where I had a to-do list a mile and half long, and Hero wasn't here, and Sprout is a little under the weather, and Pearl wants my constant attention, blah, blah, blah. I didn't shower till 2:30, didn't eat until 4:00. But my house is clean, I am officially registered as a business in Michigan (starting, anyhow), the yarn wholesaler took my state tax application as sufficient evidence of resale and will process my order without making me wait 6 to 8 weeks. And (drum roll, please)....
Hero got a JOB!!!!
Yay! He's just waiting on his drug test and background check to come back, and. I swear I'm hearing trumpet fanfares as I type this. Even if they are only in my head. We can start thinking seriously about moving out. Yay again! Because everyone around us seems to be buying a house! And I want one too! And I love exclamation points! Woohoo!
So yeah, it's been a pretty good day.

Yeah, I got glasses. Can you believe it? Despite the bad picture here, and the fact that I'm still getting used to them, I think I look pretty cute in them.
But Pearl looks cuter.
