In my usual optimistic vein (or maybe just my sarcastic humour artery), I've come up with a Top Ten list. Here it is.... (drum roll please!)

Top Ten Awesome Things About Being Completely Broke

10. Highly effective weight loss plan.

9. Perfect opportunity to practice faith, trust, and optimism.

8. Opportunity for a good laugh when the credit card offers arrive.

7. Balancing the checkbook is easier than ever.

6. Can say no to pledge drives/panhandlers/girl scouts selling cookies without any guilt.

5. Entrepreneurial creativity is inspired.

4. Freedom to make a career change. (hah!)

3. Good excuse to eat Ramen noodles. (Ramen! It's cheaper than food!)

2. Christmas shopping is SO easy!

1. Let's others benefit from the old adage, "It is better to give than to receive."

Ha ha ha. I crack me up.
