Why Is This So Familiar?
assembled @ 4:56 p.m. on 2004-11-13

So I'm selling pretty much anything I can on eBay, because we're broke. Again. Because the bureaucracy at Hero's workplace decided he shouldn't yet be paid the raise he earned a month ago, while at the same time, our car insurance decided to revoke the 50% discount we didn't even know we were getting, because we never got a letter that said we were supposed to send proof of prior insurance. And even if we send it in now, we don't get that money back. Charming. All of this just before Christmas, and after I gave my word that I would send out two care packages to soldiers that my sister-in-law (the new mom) used to work with. I feel like such a schmuck. The family schmuck. That sounds like a bad Christmas gift right there. Forget the Chia Pet. This year, surprise them with The Family Schmuck! She slices, she dices, she does laundry and complains at the SAME TIME! No home is complete without the Family Schmuck! (Order yours today, at the low, low cost of $19.95 and a little pride).
